How annotations work
Every annotation carries three parts:
1. The line. A short excerpt from the episode — never a full transcript. Just enough to know what is being explained.
2. The commentary. Original writing that puts the reference in context: who the historical figure was, why the political event matters, which earlier episode the callback is echoing.
3. The citation. A verifiable source for every claim. No citation means no publish.
